As well as providing high quality training, we also offer support to learners in finding placements and happily work with employers in their recruitment process, if required.
As a direct employer of Apprentices ourselves, we are fully aware of the benefits of the Apprenticeship system and how best to ensure that each new recruit or training programme for an existing staff member, has the maximum benefit to both the apprentice and your organisation.
Our local network of Training Centres provides coverage across London and the South East.
JACE Training Limited is part of the Jancett Group, incorporating Childrens’ Day Nurseries; After School, Breakfast and Holiday Clubs; as well as a private catering division. The company began operation in 1969 and the founding Director started the childcare element out of a basic need: having had children, she wished to return to work but was unable to find suitable provision and so began her own nursery!
The training element of the company began in 1981 and evolved out of a need to train its own staff in childcare and related subjects. However, this specialism quickly spread to external nurseries wishing to up-skill staff and the development of a variety of other vocationally led courses and training centres, throughout London and the South East.
Today, almost 50 years since the opening of the first nursery and over 35 years since JACE began, the company remains a family run business, currently employing over 200 staff.

Chris Pritchard is the founding Director of Jancett Childcare and JACE Training Ltd, incorporating children’s day nurseries, breakfast clubs, after school clubs, holiday clubs and Jace Catering Ltd. Chris started the Jancett Childcare element of the group nearly 50 years ago, for a simple purpose. She was a qualified teacher and after her children were born she wanted to return to work but was unable to find suitable childcare facilities and so started her own! JACE Training followed in 1981, when asked by a government department to establish a training facility within the childcare field. She has been a pioneer and champion of training young people and adults throughout her career.
As the business grew, her husband John joined to work alongside her and provide valuable support and expertise from his surveying background. Chris is proud to have witnessed the expansion of the company and the fact that it retains its family ethos, with all her children now taking an active part.
Tracy has worked for the company for over 30 years and has an intricate knowledge of its people and workings, having had experience within each section of the business since she left sixth form and began formally working at the company. In 2016, she took over at the helm as Managing Director, whilst also maintaining responsibility for both the Finance and HR functions of the group.
Tracy is married with two children and despite her extensive work responsibilities, always finds time for others. She is daughter to Chris and John Pritchard, the original company founders.
Stephen joined the company as Director in 2015 and jointly leads the training division (JACE Training). His background is in commercial property, having qualified as a chartered surveyor with a leading London practise, where he worked for over 25 years. He has always had an interest in education and training, having witnessed first-hand the benefits that it can bring to young lives.
He is married to Tracy-Pritchard Drummond, maintaining the family ethos of the firm.
Gail is Operations Manager for JACE and has worked for the company for over 20 years, many of which have been directly alongside the original founding partners. She is a qualified trainer, assessor and Internal Moderator. Gail has held many of the roles within the JACE training division, giving her a wealth of experience of both the company and the training and education industry. She is married with four children.
